Some FOs

Here are a couple of FOs just in time for the last day of November. The first one is my Langsjalid Barur. My 8 year old son took the picture yesterday out in the snow.

The second FO is my Norwegian Woods Shawl. I had finished it earlier in the month, but had not posted about it. There are alot of beads in the edging, but they are red and blend in with the red Malabrigo lace weight in the picture.

Enjoying a lazy day today while it is snowing again. I am working on some mitered squares for now, but may choose another project for later that involves some thinking.

Your Langsjalid Barur is stunning ~ love the colors on you! Your shawl is beautiful too! :)

Oh my! How beautiful both of them are. You are truly awe inspiring. Where do you get the pattern for the Langsjalid Barur? I just love it and the colorway. Cheryl

I thought I was behind in blogging!!

I've thrown down the gauntlet to the guys in Atlanta with the sheep hats with this posting on Ravelry:

"So, we saw the picture of the four guys in their sheep hats at SAFF and thought they were funny. So much so that we, in Denver, are making our own "female" sheep hats to wear to Stitches in April.

Now why do I have that song in my head... "anything boys can do, girls can do better"? LOL

Watch out fellas... the girls are coming to town!"

I'm still planning/hoping to go to Stitches. I'm going to start thinking about my sheep hat soon. Have you started yours yet?
